Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) is also known as Foundation in Accountancy (FIA). This qualification is bestowed on the completion of 9 exams, including a set of awards, certificates, and diploma. CAT/FIA starts you at the most relevant level throughout a range of Foundation level certificates and diplomas that provide the ideal starting point for anyone new to accounting and finance and who doesn’t have any formal qualifications.
ACCA FIA course requires the shortest duration of only 9 months to complete. The FIA qualifications will award you certificate at different stages of your studies. There are total 7 papers in the ACCA-FIA qualification. The FIA qualifications include:
Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting RQF Level 2
Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting RQF Level 3
Diploma in Accounting and Business RQF Level 4
No formal entry requirement to start your ACCA-FIA course. You have to be 16 years old of age.
The shortest duration to complete FIA could be as short as 8 months.
Once you have completed the 7 papers in ACCA FIA, you have the following options:
